Far too often, prescription drug errors occur

sometimes with devastating consequences. The
error can be in the wrong medication being
prescribed or when the wrong dosage of the
medication is prescribed. In either event, the
innocent consumer ingests something that he or
she was not supposed to ingest.
Recently, Mr. Saletta successfully represented a
client who took the wrong medication for weeks
due to an error by a Walgreens Pharmacy.
Prescription drugs may also have serious side
effects which can harm the consumer. When a
manufacturer of a prescription drug has
knowledge of a dangerous side effect and fails
to warn the consumer, the manufacturer can be
held responsible for the resulting injury to the
consumer.
Mr. Saletta obtained a $700,000 settlement for a
woman who suffered serious heart damage after
ingesting the diet drug popularly known as “Fen-Phen”.
